Over $750 Million Dollars Up For Grabs In New York

It could be a big winning weekend here in New York State.

You will have a couple of chances to win millions of dollars according to the New York State Lottery. The jackpots for both the Mega Millions and The Powerball are well over $300 million dollars and when combined together you could win over $750 million dollars.

The jackpot for the Mega Millions is up to $324 million dollars. The drawing will be held tonight at 10:59 pm. Tickets for the Mega Millions will cost you $2 for a regular ticket or $3 for a ticket with the Multiplier which can double, triple, quadruple, or even up the prize amount by 5 times.

The last time someone won the grand prize with the Mega Millions was back on January 17th. One ticket won the $112 million jackpot. That ticket was won by an anonymous player in Arizona. The winning ticket was sold in Tempe.

Your second chance to win big this weekend is coming up on Saturday night with the Powerball. The current jackpot for the Powerball is $444 million dollars. The Powerball numbers will be drawn on Saturday night at 10:59 pm. The last Powerball jackpot winner was back in January when 79-year-old Abbas Shafii of Beaverton Oregon won $328.5 million dollars. He took the lump sum payout and pocketed a cool $146.4 million dollars after taxes.
