Man Stranded Without Cancer Meds Recovers: ‘Tell Me Something Good’

"I wrote letters, texts to certain people back home that I needed to notify that I may not make it," said Goo, speaking of his time in Peru in March.
Over the last four years, Elton has been traveling to different corners of the world to surf and live each day thinking it could be his last. After a number of tries and flights, the U.S. Government eventually got Elton back home to Honolulu.
"I ended up having to take the medication every other day and I still ran out and my health was fading when it ran out," Goo told KITV4.
Just this past weekend, Goo received news that he found hard to believe at first. He is miraculously cancer-free.
"[A doctor said] 'Elton I don’t know who you Hawaiians pray to but I suggest you do it right now because this is the best news you can get.'"
Goo says the credit for his recovery goes to God and possibly to a medicinal marijuana concentrate known as "Rick Simpson Oil."
Goo said being cancer-free will certainly add to his mission to travel and surf the world.
"I have found my purpose in life. I teach people how to trade stocks ,I go surf and I travel so when COVID’s over that’s what I’m doing," he explained.
In his blog “Elton’s Unorthodox Blessings," Goo says that’s exactly what this event has proven to be for him. After all hope seemed lost, he's miraculously found a new life.
It is after all the season of miracles.
