A very familiar face will soon be gone from your TV.

According to a post on Instagram by the Buffalo Broadcaster's Association, Spectrum meteorologist Kaylee Wendt is set to leave her TV job for a new gig.

 

Wendt is Western New York native who grew up in Niagara county and attended high school at Starpoint. She attended college at SUNY Brockport and worked at WIVB Channel 4 in Buffalo before making the move to Spectrum News.

Wendt joins Dan Russell left Spectrum News after 20+ years to join the weather team at WGRZ TV earlier this year. 

Wendt and Russell join a slew of TV anchors, reporters, and meteorologists who have left TV stations in Western New York and moved to a new station in town or out in other markets.

Jon Scott left Spectrum to take over the Sports director duties at WGRZ-TV.

These Are The 23 Drive-In Theaters Left In NY State

New York State has the highest drive-in movie theater screens in the country. That means there's probably one not too far from wherever you are. There are a handful here in the Capital Region. 
Back in the swinging '60s, drive-in theaters were all the rage, with over 4,000 scattered across the country and a whopping one hundred fifty right here in New York State alone. But times have changed, and now only twenty-three of these nostalgic gems are left in New York State. Check them out.
