Major Changes To Evening News In Buffalo, New York
The next time you turn on your local newscast in Buffalo, things will look a little different.
WIVB made an official announcement that they have named Dave Greber and Kelsey Anderson as the new main anchors for the station. They will now co-host the 5 pm, 5:30pm and 6 pm every weekend.
Greber has been with WIVB Channel 4 for the past 10 years working his way up from multimedia journalist to main co-anchor.
Kelsey Anderson has been with WIVB since 2018 and has worked a varity of roles for the station including anchoring the morning news.
Greber and Anderson will replace Jackie Walker and Don Postels who both retired in 2024. Walker continues to work on special projects for the station while Postels has retired and moved on completely.
According to a post on her Facebook page, Kelsey Anderson mentions that Marlee Tuskes will take over the anchoring duties for the 10 and 11 pm newscasts for WIVB.
That isn't the only news from WIVB this week. Sports reporter Sara Holland announced on social media that she was moving away from the station.
She joined WIVB Channel 4 two and a half years ago but did not mention where she is headed. Next week will be her last week on air with WIVB.
There have been plenty of changes in local TV over the past several years, including several already in 2025.
