Western New Yorker Pleads For Help Finding New Kidney
If you are a parent you know that you would do anything for your child, no matter how old they are.
I was driving down Rogers Road in Hamburg the other day when I noticed this sticker on the back of the car in front of me.
It is asking for help in finding a new kidney for a 25-year-old woman. I don't know if the driver is related to the person who needs the kidney, but as a parent myself I know that I would do anything I could to help my child.

If this was my son Avry, I would have this sticker on my car too and I would be pleading with everyone and anyone for help.
Do you know someone who could help? If not, share this post and let's see if we can find a match for this woman in need.
According to the sticker, they need a kidney that is O+ or O-. If you are compatible and want to see if you match or know someone who does, you can call ECMC and say you can help Bri DiGiacomo or call the number on the sticker 716-898-5001.
According to a story posted on WIVB last January, Bri has been looking for a new kidney since her body rejected one that was donated by a family member several years ago.
Kidney transplants have a high degree of success with around 95% of transplanted kidneys functioning one year after the surgery.
Let's see if we can find Bri a new kidney.
