Eden Corn Festival Returns Next Week To Western New York

Lawn Fete and Festival season continues across Western New York.

This weekend the Buffalo Italian Heritage Festival takes place along Hertel Avenue. Check out a list of what's happening HERE.

Then next weekend it is the 60th anniversary of the Eden Corn Festival right in the heart of Eden, New York.

The Eden Corn Festival kicks off on Thursday, August 1st, and continues through Sunday, August 4th. There will be plenty of carnival rides and food vendors along with some very cool events.

You can take part in the corn-shucking contest or come root for our favorite media personality in the celebrity corn-shucking contest on Sunday.

The 3rd annual Corn Fest BBQ cookoff will take place on Sunday, August 4th. Each BBQ master will have to make a pork and chicken dish along with a corn-inspired dessert.

When the Eden Corn Festival wraps up we will get ready for the "Best 12 Days of Summer" as the Erie County Fair returns to the Hamburg Fairgrounds.

The Erie County Fair will run from August 7th through the 18th. Tickets for the Erie County Fair are currently on sale on at their website.
