The Buffalo Bills play the Pittsburgh Steelers at Highmark Stadium this Sunday, which will be the third game of the NFL's Super Wild Card Weekend.

The game chatter has shifted from the players who might not play and won't play, to the weather and the ramifications it will have on the game.

There's now a Winter Storm Watch that has been issued for most of Western New York; that includes Erie County. It starts Saturday afternoon and lasts until 7 am on Monday morning.

Lake effect snow bands will set up after this system moves through and will drop 7+ inches of snow. Those in the most persistent snow bands will see more than 7 inches. The wind gusts could reach 65 mph on Saturday and 45 mph on Sunday, which means the Bills game in Orchard Park will in all likelihood, be severely impacted by the weather.

It appears that lake effect snow band will meander north of Orchard Park on Sunday morning before heading back south to Orchard Park by late morning.

There's even a report from Pittsburgh that the game could get moved if the lake effect snow is bad enough and a "state of emergency" is implemented. That would mean travel bands/advisories.

It comes from KDKA host Marty Griffin, by way of Andrew Fillipponi out of Pittsburgh.

Soon after, there are reports that this “game potentially being moved” report is not true and the game will go on at Highmark Stadium.

The simple fact is there isn't enough time to make that determination, if for some reason the weather does become dangerous. We won't know that until this weekend, as lake effect snow changes plans on a dime.

It appears this game will be played at Highmark Stadium, even with lake effect snow probably impacting the game.
