Western New Yorker Claims $1M Grand Prize Scratch-off Game

A trip to get some gas turned out to be a very lucky trip for one woman in New York.

The New York State Lottery announced that Dawn Flieri who lives in Lake View, New York won one of the $1 million dollar grand prize jackpots from the Xtreme Winnings ticket.

She bought the ticket at the Mobile gas station located at 4878 Lakeshore Rd. in Hamburg. She opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment totaling $468,720, after required withholdings.

Flieri beat 1 in 4,536,400.00 odds to win the grand prize.

According to the New York State Lottery, at the time of this writing, there are three Top Prize $1 million winning Xtreme Winning scratch-off tickets still in circulation.

That wasn't the only "Big Money" winning ticket sold in New York. This weekend there were several "Big Money" winning tickets sold from the Mega Millions and Powerball.

There were two 3rd place winning tickets sold in New York from Friday Night's Mega Millions drawing. Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Mega Ball. Each one of those tickets won $10,000.

Friday's winning Mega Millions numbers were: 15-23-53-57-61 with Mega Ball 09

There was another 3rd place-winning ticket sold from Saturday's Powerball drawing in New York. That ticket matched four out of five numbers and also had the Power ball. That ticket won $50,000.

Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were: 9-30-53-55-62 with a Powerball of 23
