Five "Big Money" Winning Lottery Winners In New York

This weekend was a good one for lottery players in New York State.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were four "Big Money" winning lottery tickets sold in the state from the Mega Millions and Powerball drawings.

On Friday, there were three 3rd place-winning tickets sold from the Mega Millions drawing. Each one of those tickets won after they matched four out of five numbers and also had the Megaball. Two of those tickets won $10,000 while the third one had the Megaplier and won a total of $40,000.

Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were: 7-16-19-45-64 with a Powerball of 25

There were no grand prize winners this weekend which means there are millions of dollars up fro grabs this week.

The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing is now up to $456 million dollars while Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is up to $205 million dollars.
