
Roadwork In Hamburg Will Slow You Down This Week
Roadwork along the I-90 near the Hamburg exit will cause some moderate delays this week.
Springtime in Western New York means roadwork time and a major project is expected to start this morning and continue all this week.
According to the Niagara International Technology Coalition, a new project is set to impact travel along the 90 heading eastbound.

The right lane of the 90 Eastbound will be closed from Exit 56 (Route 179) in the town of Hamburg to Exit 55 (Ridge Road) in the Town of West Seneca.

Traffic will be forced to merge from two lanes to one in that stretch of the Thruway. Road crews are expected to be out there all week long from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
According to the latest information, the road project is expected to be completed by May 3rd, but it will depend on the weather.

That isn't the only new project that will be starting in the area.
There will be some lane restrictions along Boston State Road between Mill Street and Holiday Drive. There will be a road crew out there through Friday, May 3rd. The lane restrictions will be in place from 7 am until 4 pm.

There will also be roadwork being done today along the inbound and outbound 33. Road crews will be on either side of the 33 near Suffolk Street.
