According to WIVB meteorologist, the risk of damaging wind is high for Western New York on Saturday. There is a slight risk of flooding and hail while there is a low risk of possible tornados.

The good news is that the weather front is moving fast and should be out of the area by Saturday night. We could still see some light rain on and off on Sunday before sunshine is back in the forecast for early next week.

The weather looks decent for the 4th of July as well, but that could change since we are still 6 days away from America's Independence Day.
