Gas prices continue to drop across the country, the state, and in Western New York.

We have seen a steady decline in the price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas over the past several months and it looks like that trend is set to continue.

According to AAA the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas in the nation is around $3.17. That is down about 40 cents from last year.

In New York State, the average price is around $3.22 which is around 56 cents lower than a year ago.

Here in Western New York, the average price is around $3.39 which is down about 40 cents from last year.


As these prices continue to drop, many Western New Yorkers are looking for even lower prices. There are a couple of places in the 716 where you can get your gas for under $3 per gallon.

Most gas stations located on Native American land are selling gas for well below $3 per gallon.
