Thousands of Dodge Ram and SUV drivers in New York are being affected by a massive recall by Dodge's parent company Chrysler.

Chrysler has issued a recall for over 200,000 Dodge Durango, Ram 2500s, and Ram 3500s vehicles. The vehicles could experience an issue with their anti-lock braking controls that could lead to the loss of stability resulting in a possible accident.

Chrysler dealers will update the anti-lock braking control module software for free and the company is expected to send out notification letters to dealers and owners by July 26.

If you have any concerns or questions about your vehicle, you are advised to contact the dealer where you purchased the vehicle or you can contact Chrysler's recall assistance center.
