Commissioner Ray Kelly: NYPD Could Take Down Plane If Needed

New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly told CBS' "60 Minutes", in an interview that aired Sunday evening that after the Sept. 11 attacks, he decided to set about creating the NYPD's own counter-terrorism unit.

He says the department is prepared for multiple scenarios and could even take down a plane. He chose not to deliberate further on that possibility.
