It looks like Old Man Winter is being stubborn this year. As we head into the first full week of April, we are likely to see snow showers across Western New York.

The long-range forecast is calling for a chance of early next week after we get through a warm and wet weekend.

The temperatures look like they will dip starting this Sunday when we see a high of only 44 after temperatures in the 60s for the rest of this week.

Those temperatures will continue to drop on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday before rebounding next Thursday.

Along with those cooler temperatures, this latest storm front will bring a chance of snow showers for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Each day there is at least a 55% chance of rain/snow for Western New York.

It is not unusual for snow to fall in Western New York. It looks like, as of this writing, Western New York has received snow for the last 141 years in a row. While it might not be a lot, it still snowed.

Last year, Buffalo received a 1/2 inch of snow during the month of April.
