Alaska Mom Convicted Of Child Abuse After Using Hot Sauce To Discipline Son
A mom in Alaska could spend a year behind bars and be fined up to ten-thousand-dollars for disciplining her adopted son with hot sauce and cold showers. CNews reports a six-member jury in Anchorage returned a guilty verdict on one-count of misdemeanor child abuse.
The story was hardly believable. A mom in Alaska appeared on The "Dr. Phil" Show with a videotape of her disciplining her adopted Russian-born son by forcing hot sauce into his mouth. The mother, Jessica Beagley also admitted she used cold showers to discipline her son. The show outraged viewers across the U-S and lead to charges against Beagley and ultimately her conviction.
The story is hardly believable. The tape may leave you angry.
