The military's "don't ask don't tell" policy expired this week, which lead this airman to phone his father to say he's gay.

The website "Pat's Papers" indicates 21-year-old Randy Phillips had been keeping an anonymous video blog about his quest to come out.   Since the change in military policy regarding gay servicemen and women this week, Phillips made a phone call to his father in Alabama to finally tell his dad he is gay.  His father pauses before saying, "I still love you son. Doesn't change our relationship."  He recorded the phone call and has posted the video on YouTube.
