2 Million Dollar Winning Powerball Ticket Sold In New York

There is a new millionaire in New York this weekend.

The New York State Lottery announced that a $2 million dollar winning Powerball ticket was sold in the state from Saturday's Powerball drawing.

The ticket matched all five numbers but missed out on the Powerball which means it won the 2nd place prize of $1 million dollars. The ticket also had the Power Play which doubles the 2nd place prize to $2 million dollars.

The winning ticket was sold at the Lucky Choice store on Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn, New York.

Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were: 13-33-40-60-61 with a Powerball number of 20.

No one claimed the grand prize jackpot which means that Monday's Powerball jackpot is up to $174 million dollars.
