Saturday's Powerball drawing paid off big time for two lottery players in New York.

The New York State Lottery announced that there were two "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold in New York from Saturday's drawing.

Each one of those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. Both tickets also had the Powerplay which double the prize amount of $50,000.

Saturday's winning Powerball numbers were: 3-16-45-54-56 with a Powerball of 12.

No one claimed the grand prize on Saturday night so the jackpot for the next Powerball drawing on Monday is up to $183 million dollars.

Saturday's winning Powerball tickets were the 18th and 19th "Big Money" winning Powerball tickets sold in New York State so far in 2025.

The Powerball is drawn every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday night at 10:59 pm. Powerball tickets cost $2 each for a regular ticket or $3 each for a ticket with the Powerplay.

The Powerplay can double, triple, quadruple, or increase the winning prize amount by 5 times the winning amount.
