Your Cat or Dog Could Be The Face Of A New Summer Brew

Resurgence Brewing Company here in Buffalo has undertaken a promotion to raise money for local animal shelters with a contest that could see your pet on a can of their new Summer beer.

In 2019 Resurgence opened their state of the art brewery & taproom  at 55 Chicago St in Buffalo, NY. Their new facility on Chicago St allows you to experience the brewing process in an up close setting with a larger production facility, full restaurant, and banquet center. They feature a Pop-Up Beer Garden is perfect for outdoor events like weddings,  fundraisers, and private parties.

But back to  Buffalo’s Top Dog & Coolest Cat contest. The brewery is searching for the  faces of cats and dogs that will be featured on its new summer brew.

Only one dog and one cat will be chosen, and all proceeds from the contest, including votes, will benefit the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and Ten Lives Club.

“We are extremely proud and excited to help the homeless dogs and cats at the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and Ten Lives Club. Some of the most memorable events we’ve hosted have been centered around our four legged friends and we can’t wait to get started on this partnership”

Pets can be entered into the contest until until the deadline Friday, June 18 at 9 p.m. Each vote costs one dollar, but entering your pet is free according to NEWS 4 (WIVB-TV).

According to their website the dog and cat with the most votes will win, and be invited to Resurgence’s pet-friendly “Resurgence to the Rescue” fundraising party on August 1.
