August 26th is National Dog Day, so we wanted to celebrate with some of the cutest dogs in Western New York.

We asked dog owners to send us the cutest pictures of their fur-babies, and we were overwhelmed with the cuteness that came our way.

What Is National Dog Day?

August 26th has been designated "National Dog Day," and it is a day to celebrate everything dogs do for us. From being "best friends" to fighting crime and saving lives, dogs are there for us every day.

Now I am a self-proclaimed cat lover, and this was a tough post to put together since my cat Stamp was sitting right next to me while I was on the computer.

She is not a fan of National Dog Day; in fact, she doesn't think this day should even exist!
