Get A Free Ride Home On July 4th In Western New York
If you plan on celebrating the 4th of July with some adult beverages you need to make sure that you have a safe way to get home.
Buffalo-based attorney William Mattar is looking to help you get home safe this 4th of July. As he does around most major holidays, William Mattar is giving away free Under Rides home for 1000 people.

Mattar's Safe Ride 4 the 4th Program encourages people to have a safe plan to get home if they will be drinking while celebrating the 4th this year. You can sign up to get a digital Uber gift card with up $20 that can be used between Noon on Thursday, July 4th, and 2 am on Friday, July 5th.
There are 1000 digital gift cards up for grabs and they are available on a first come, first serve basis. You do need to hurry up because the program ends at Noon today.

Don't forget that New York State Troopers will have extra DWI checkpoints and patrols this holiday weekend. It is all part of New York State's STOP DWI/High Visibility Campaign.

During last year's 4th of July campaign, New York State Troopers issued over 11,000 total tickets and arrested over 150 people for DWI. New York State Troopers also investigated over 700 accidents.
Along with New York State Troopers, border patrol will also have increased patrols. Traffic could be delayed along bridges that connect the United States to Canada.
