The "12 Best Days of Summer" are officially here as the Erie County Fair is now open and will continue to run through August 18th.

Gates to the Erie County Fair will be open every day from 11 am until 10 pm. The Building inside the fair will be open from 11 am until 10 pm every day and the midway will be up and running daily from Noon until 11 pm.

Ticket will cost $22.60 per adult and kids 12 and under get in for free. You will not be able to use cash to buy tickets. You can get them online (HERE) or at any of the gates but you will have to use a credit or debit card to make your purchase.

This is the 184th edition of the Eire County Fair and while some things have changed a lot over the almost 200 years, there are some things that locals here in the 716 only know about.

If you are heading out to the fair this year, just know there will be plenty of new things for you to try. Besides of some new foods, the "Wall of Death" makes it return this year to the fair.
