
Places To Play “I Got It” In Western New York
Summer will officially be here in Western New York on June 21st, and that means that the game of the summer will be here as well. If you have spent any time in Western New York during Lawn Fete, Carnival, and Fair season, you know that Western New Yorkers love to play "I Got It"
What Is "I Got It"?
The game "I Got It" is like bingo, but instead of daubing numbers, contestants toss red balls into a grid and try to get five in a row. The first person to do it wins. They usually yell out "I Got It" hence the name of the game.

According to several online articles, "I Got It" was invented right here in Western New York back in the 1960s when Bingo was banned. You can read more about the history of "I Got It" HERE.
Where Can You Play "I Got It"
One of the biggest places to play "I Got It" is at the Erie County Fair. There are usually two or more setups around the Fair, giving you plenty of chances to play.
"I Got It" can also be found at the Queen of Heaven Carnival, which is taking place this year on July 9th through 12th.
You can play at West Seneca Community Days. This year, the West Seneca Community Days festival will take place from June 25th through the 27th.
You can also play "I Got It" at this year's Eden Corn Festival. The corn fest will take place from August 6th through the 9th.
If you live in the Northtowns, you can play "I Got It" at Old Home Days in Williamsville. This year, the festival will run from July 14th through the 17th.
