Will Walmarts Be Open 24/7 In New York State?

The latest internet rumors on social media are making a lot of discount shoppers very happy but are they true?

There was a post on "X" formerly known as Twitter claiming that the discount grocery store would change its store hours to 24/7.

This would allow shoppers to shop anytime and hopefully for smaller lines at the checkout locations.

The only problem is that the rumor turned out to be false. According to the myth-busting website Snopes.com, there is no truth that Walmart will be changing its store hours.  

We found no evidence that Walmart will be resuming 24-hour operations, and a company spokesman refuted the viral rumor. Therefore we have rated this claim "False." Joe Pennington, a Walmart spokesman, told Snopes via email that there "are no current plans to return our stores to 24 hours of operations."

Walmart even issued a statement on "X" saying that there were no plans to change store hours.

So if you plan on going shopping at Walmart this month, just know that most Walmarts are open daily from 6 am until 11 pm.
