Veteran Character Actor Steve Landesberg

As 2010 draws to a close we note the passing of another Hollywood celebrity, Steve Landesberg. Steve was probably best known for his dry humor on the 70’s comedy show “Barney Miller”. I was a huge fan of this ensemble comedy show that ranked right up there with others of its time like “Mash”, “WKRP in Cincinnati”, and “The Mary Tyler Moore show”. But younger audiences will remember Steve from his newer roles like the movie “Forgetting Sarah Marshall”, “Everybody Hates Chris” and “That 70’s Show”. Steve was just 65 years old and the cause of death has not been released. Here’s a short clip from “Barney Miller” that typifies Steve’s off beat brand of humor…enjoy!
