There are many great attributes of Uber:  drivers can make extra money, your ride arrives quicker than cabs thanks to GPS, and no cash is exchanged.  It's all digital.

Of course, when inviting strangers into your car with ANY ride service, there are risks, including sketchy and/or under-the-influence customers.

An Uber driver in California tried to kick a passenger out because he was too drunk. The guy starting punching him from the back seat. Luckily, the driver had pepper spray with him, so he fought him off, and eventually the unruly passenger left.

It was all caught on film.  The fight starts around 3:08.

The service isn't currently available in Buffalo, but legislation is on the table, as there is lots of interest in the Queen City.  It could be officially available as early as January.

By the way, the guy in the above-video walked away, but cops arrested him at a nearby shopping center.

Would you drive for Uber? Have you ever taken Uber?
