Authorities are investigating after three bodies were found inside a SUNY Geneseo student's home over the weekend.

Police responded to the house after receiving a call from one of the victim's family members.

The bodies of Kelsey Annese, 21, Matthew Hutchinson, 24, and Colin Kingston, 24, were found in the home along with a knife. At this point authorities believe that this may have been a murder/suicide situation, but too soon to say for sure.

A statement was released from SUNY Geneseo on Sunday evening...

“On Sunday, January 17, 2016, the Geneseo Police Department reported that three deaths occurred in a residence on Wadsworth Street in Geneseo. Once the police department was able to locate and notify the families of the deceased individuals, their names were released. We are deeply saddened to report that the three individuals were identified as Kelsey Annese, Matthew Hutchinson and Colin Kingston. Kelsey and Matthew were students at SUNY Geneseo, and Colin was a former student.

Kelsey Annese was a senior from Webster, N.Y., and a member of the women’s basketball team. She was an Education/Spanish major and a Psychology minor.

Matthew Hutchinson was a senior from North Vancouver, British Columbia, and a member of the hockey team. He was a Geography major and Business Studies minor. He was also a member of the Geneseo volunteer fire department.
