Things To Do Outdoors This Holiday Weekend?

The Sabres won, the Bills are on TV this afternoon, but it is going to be close to 80 degrees today. How many more weekends like this will we have this Fall? Here are some things you can do outdoors this holiday weekend.

Niagara Falls. When was the last time you visited the Cataract City. Maid of the Mist, Cave of the Winds, a walk around Goat Island, all on the American side, all within a 30 -40 minute drive.

Old Fort Niagara. Take a nice drive down either the Niagara Parkway, or Rt. 18 through Youngstown to the Fort, located right on the mouth of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario.

Amherst Museum. You can tour old school houses, restored homes and buildings to see how the area's pioneers lived. There are also displays of arts and crafts from the time period.

This weekend is also the Ellicottville Fall Festival, with the leaves on the rolling hills ablaze in color this is an event you might not want to miss.
