National Christmas Tree Lighting!
On December 9, 2010, the National Christmas Tree Lighting will provide an opportunity for all Americans to come together to celebrate the season and to share the message of peace. The Tree Lighting will take place at 5pm today at President's Park in Washington, D.C.
In partnership with WETA, Washington, D.C.’s flagship public broadcasting station, public television stations nationwide will begin airing the 2010 National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on Friday, December 10th and continue throughout the holiday season. Viewers are invited to check WNED-TV for broadcast dates and times.
