This weekend, Ted was the number-one movie in America. I was a little surprised, since every woman I know was planning on seeing Magic Mike, which finished third.

In fact, Ted set a record for the highest-grossing opening for a non-sequel R-rated comedy.

Here comes another big movie weekend/week: The Amazing Spiderman opens tomorrow (Tuesday, July 3), and Katy Perry: Part Of Me opens Thursday (July 5). Which one of those is your choice?
