We have all experienced tooth pain, or sensitivity at one time or another, but now good news for those chronic sufferers. The treatment will be introduced at the Chicago Dental Society conference going on today through Friday, it's described as a new toothpaste that contains a nerve-protecting agent.

The ingredient is called NovaMin, and when saliva is present it lays down a barrier that prevents transmission of pain to the nerve. Ask your dentist about an application during a visit, a toothpaste containing the ingredient will be available this summer.
