You have probably heard of the movie "Snakes On A Plane" (Samuel L. Jackson)...

But what about Scorpions on a plane? Sound freaky? It was for Jeff Ellis at 30,000 feet. According to the Associated Press about three hours into a flight from Seattle to Anchorage, AK , Ellis dozed off. Then, he felt something tickling his arm.

"I felt it on my shirt-sleeve and brushed it off, I thought it was a little spider or something," Ellis said. "Then I felt it back on my elbow."

Then the little sucker bit him, he grabbed the scorpion in a napkin and a flight attendant put it in a plastic bag while the crew radioed to have paramedics waiting for them on the ground in Alaska (do they even have scorpions in Alaska, do they wear little North Face jackets and earmuffs?)

Alaska Airlines spokeswoman Bobbie Egan said the scorpion probably crawled on board the plane during a stop in Austin, Texas.

And just in case you want to know what a scorpion looks like, in case you get bitten by one at a 4th of July picnic at your Aunt Freda's...here is a less than educational video.

(No weird guys in t-shirts were killed or injured in the making of this video)
