This week it is going to be very warm across New York State.

A massive warm front will bring unseasonable weather to the area and with that is the possibility of record-high temperatures.

In Central New York, temperatures will get into the mid-70s on Wednesday and Thursday.

The record high for Wednesday in Syracuse is 79 which might be hard to match, but on Halloween, the record high is only 75 and a new record could be set.

In New York City, the temperatures could end up reaching into the 80s. The current record high in New York City for October 30th is 82 while the record for Halloween night is 81.

It looks like this Halloween you won't have to work about making sure your kid's costume fits over a winter jacket, you will have to make sure they don't get too warm while out trick-or-treating.
