Princess Beatrice’s Royal Wedding Hat Brings In Big Bucks For Charity

Princess Beatrice was easy to spot at the Royal Wedding.   You couldn't miss her in the hat she was wearing.  Apparently someone liked it though, because they paid more than $130, 000 to buy the hat on eBay!

E! Online  reports an anonymous bidder purchased the Philip Treacey creation for approximately $130,000.  The hat's unique style caught the attention of viewers worldwide when Princess Beatrice showcased it at the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton April 29th.  Popeater.com  reports the hat has it's own facebook  following, and has been compared to a pretzel and a toilet seat.  Not exactly my style, but then again, I don't really look good in a hat -- any hat!
