Northern Lights Could Be Visible Tonight In New York
There is a chance you could catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights if you live in New York State.
There was a massive G4 eruption on the Sun and that has sent some solar activity into the Earth's Astrosphere.

The "Sun Burp" happened over the weekend and there is still a chance we could see the southern line of the Northern Lights dipped well into New York State.

According to NOAA's space weather prediction, the most southern line of the Northern Lights could stretch across Western New York all the way through Central New York and Northern New York.
The Northern Lights will be very faint tonight as most of the solar activity will be moving across the Earth's Astrosphere near the North Pole.

The best time to see the Northern Lights will be between 10 pm and 2 am.
It is also best to get away from light for a better chance of seeing the Northern lights. That means going away from cities and towns and heading towards the woods or lakes.
