It is every American's right to protest our elected officials, but sometimes protesters might go too far in the eyes of the officials.

It seems that a recent sign at a protest was a little too much for New York State Governor Kathy Hochul.

She took to social media to deny what the protestor and their sign accused her of.

If you didn't know, Governor Hochul is from Hamburg, New York, which is located in Western New York. Hamburg is about 20 minutes south of the City of Buffalo, which is considered the home of the Chicken Wing. In Buffalo and most of Western New York, wing eaters will use Bleu cheese for their dipping sauce, not Ranch like much of the rest of the country.

In Western New York, saying someone uses Ranch dressing with the wings is considered a pretty big insult.

According to many different stories, most people agree that what we consider chicken wings today were first invented by Teressa Bellissimo, who owned the Anchor Bar in Buffalo with her husband, Frank. The story goes that she made these wings a snack for her son and friends one night and served them up with Bleu Cheese.

In most places in Buffalo, they won't serve you Ranch with your wings. If you want to use this dip, you might have to bring your own when you order your next round.
