Mom Prom Gaining Steam [VIDEO]

How many old dresses do you have in the closet from maybe a high school prom or - how about old bridesmaid dresses?  I have been in 8 weddings as a bridesmaid... 8 dresses...  all worn once.  Well there's a new concept called the Mom Prom where you can put those dresses back on and have a little fun...

The event started in Detroit is now spreading to Washington and New York City.  Women try to slip into those old dresses - even if they are a little tight - for a night out on the town with friends all for a good cause.  The Christian Science Monitor reports the Mom Prom is in its' sixth year in Detroit, helping to raise money for cancer research and other charitable groups.  I might be able to fit into one or two of those old dresses... hmmm, anyone for a Mom Prom?
