Martha’s Bulldog Attacks Her !

Martha Stewart was at her home in Westchester County, New York on Tuesday evening preparing to head to New York City to tape "The Martha Stewart Show." Martha describes why she approached her French bulldog as she was packing -- she "leaned down to whisper goodbye to a dozing Francesca."

Unfortunately Francesca was not happy to be awoken. Martha says, "I must have startled her because she bolted upright with such force that she hit me in the face like a boxing glove hitting an opponent's face ... I was entirely startled and my neck snapped back. I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip. Frannie was as upset as I was and cowered in her bed." We're just glad our Martha Is doing fine.
