It looks like Mother Nature will be giving us a chance to enjoy the great outdoors this month.

After a very soggy start to Spring, the Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting a slightly drier June than in years past.

Starting in Western New York, we are looking at average temperatures that will be around 1 degree cooler than normal. Precipitation could be as much as an inch below normal for the month of June.

In Central New York, it is expected to be much cooler with the average temperature 3 degrees below normal for this time of year. The Old Farmer's Almanac is also calling for around an inch or so less precipitation than normal for the month.

Out in the Eastern part of New York and Downstate, there will be plenty of sunshine but temperatures will remain below normal for June. On average the temperatures could be 2 degrees cooler than normal. Less precipitation is also expected with an average of almost 2 inches less than normal.

Overall some meteorologists are calling for a cooler June and start to Summer for much of New York and the Northeast in general.
