Thompson had one of the worst games of his career on Friday night. He had multiple turnovers, which led to goals for the Montreal Canadians. Overall, Thompson was -4 in the game in 18 minutes of ice time.

His poor play led some people to wonder his he was injuried during the Sabres Game 1 win over Montreal and is trying to play through the pain. He was asked point blank about being injuried after the game, and didn't give the answer Sabrehood wanted to hear.
