Western New Yorkers love pizza! We generally order from Ronny's Take Out in Lancaster a couple times a month. It's a quick easy dinner, with little mess, until it comes time to dispose of the pizza box. I am never quite sure whether to throw it in with the recyclables or the trash?

It turns out the answer to that question is both. Pizza boxes, according to Recylables.com, alone are generally recyclable. Once the pizza though has left the box stained with grease, it become trash.  The same holds true for any sort of paper product stained with grease or food.  Unless you can remove the tainted portion of the box, it is not recyclable.  Glad we cleared that up!
