Today is the day that millions of New Yorkers and visitors to New York State have been waiting for. Today is the day of the Total Solar Eclipse and parts of New York are right in the middle of the path of the eclipse.
The biggest question people have today is "What will the weather be?" Will it be clear or cloudy?

WESTERN NEW YORK
Right now, most forecasts are calling for cloud cover during the afternoon with mostly cloudy skies near totality at 3:18 pm.

CENTRAL NEW YORK
It looks like today will be mostly cloudy during the eclipse with more clear skies to the East of New York.
NEW YORK CITY
While you won't see totality in New York City, the "Big Apple" will have the best chance of clear skies to see the partial eclipse.
