The Old Farmer's Almanac published their summer prediction for Western New York, and it looks like it will be a hot and wet summer for the 716. According to their latest prediction, it will be hot and rainy in Western New York this summer.
Long Range Forecast For Western New York
Looking ahead to the month of May, it looks like the start of the warm, wet trend is coming to Western New York. The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for average temperatures around 60 degrees, which is about 1 degree warmer than normal.
Western New York is also expected to get a long more rain than normal. May could be a very wet one with a predicted rainfall amount of 5 inches, which is around 2 inches above normal.

End Of April Weather Expected To Be Above Average
Before we look ahead to May and Summer, we still need to get through the end of April. It has been a cold month so far, but it looks like it will change in the final 9 days of the month. While we will see some scattered showers today, it will warm up with a high near 61 expected in the 716.
