– It looks like we have another week of summer-like weather on tap across Western New York. A warm front is passing through the area and we will see above average temperatures for this week. Today we are looking at a high near 82. We are also looking at the lower 80s for tomorrow and through the weekend. It also looks like it will be dry most of the week as well.

– The Buffalo Bills could be without their defensive captain for a couple of weeks. Terell Bernard suffered a pec injury early in the Bills win over the Dolphins on Thursday and he could end up going on the Injured reserve. If he does, he would have to miss at least four games. Bills defensive coordinator Bobby Babich said he feels bad for Bernard. (audio) The Bills are off until next Monday when they will host the Jacksonville Jaguars at Highmark Stadium on Monday Night Football.
- Tomorrow you can give back and have a chance to win tickets to see the Buffalo Bills. FeedMore WNY is teaming up with the Buffalo Bills to host their annual “Huddle For Hunger” food drive at Highmark Stadium. You can drop off non-perishable food items at Highmark Stadium tomorrow between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Donations will be collected in Lot 2 and everyone who donated will have a chance to win tickets to the Buffalo Bills home game against Jacksonville. All of the food donated will support FeedMore WNY and thier partner hunger relief agencies.
- If you missed Erie County’s free pet rabies clinic this past Saturday, no worries there will be another one coming up this Saturday from 9 am until 1 pm. It will be held at ECC South’s campus and while the rabies shots are free, you do need to register your pet before the event. As of this morning, there were still around 90 open spots available for this clinic.
- With the warm weather still with us this week, you might see plenty of dogs running around parks and walking around your neighborhood. But have you notices that most of the dogs tend to be the same breed? A new study came out showing the Top 10 Dog breeds in New York state and on that list were golden labs, Chihuahuas, and beagles. The top breed in New York was the French Bulldog.

- Once again you will have a chance to see the Northern Lights in Western New York. With clear skies and an active sun, the southern boundary light of the aurora borealis will dip down into Western New York. The Northern Lights will be faint and you might need a camera to see them, but the weather tonight should give you a chance to see them over Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
- If you are looking to win big, the New York State lottery still have several scratch-off games that could make you a millionaire. There are three games right now that have a top prize of $10,000,000. The $10,000,000 Bonus, $10,000,000 Cash, and $10,000,000 Deluxe games still have one or more top prize winning tickets unclaimed which means you have a chance to win.
– This week you can double dip with our “We Are Buffalo” deals because we have two that will be going on sale this Friday morning. First off, you can get $50 worth of gift cards for only $25 to Babcia's Pierogis at the Broadway Market. Then you can take advantage of a "buy one get one" free deal to get tickets to the Haunted Forest at the Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence. Both those deals go on sale this Friday at 9 am.
