
Massive Rain Storms For Parts Of New York State
The wet and rainy start to May in New York State will continue today, with parts of the state getting hit with massive amounts of rain.
Weather In Western New York
After several straight days of rain, it looks like most of the Western part of New York will only get some light rain today.
The biggest issues will be towards Batavia and Rochester, where a massive rainstorm is moving over Lake Ontario and will bring heavy rain today. There is a flood watch in effect for parts of Western New York.
Weather In Central And Northern New York
Parts of Central New York will be impacted by heavy rain storms today as well. Cities like Syracuse and Binghamton will see plenty of rain throughout the day along with possible flooding around the area. A flood warning is in place until 8 am this morning for Oneida, Yates, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Onondaga, Steuben, Schuyler, Tompkins, and Cortland counties.

Weather In Downstate and New York City
Scattered showers and morning fog will be the biggest issue for the New York City region. There is also a flood watch for parts of the area.
The good news is that sunny and drier weather is expected to move across the state tomorrow and heading into the weekend.
