Do You Want Your Date To Smell Like Bacon?

A confession: I like bacon. A lot. I'm sure my doctors would prefer I had a taste for, say, lean turkey [actually, I do like lean turkey also. So there]. But I've been puzzled by some of the new bacon-flavored or -scented products that came out this year [a bacon ice cream sundae? Even I'm a little creeped out]. So what can we make of one new product?

The jar pictured above is full of shaving cream. Bacon-scented shaving cream [I'll give you a minute to concider that last statement].J & D Foods is serious enough about this to make 2,500 containers of the grooming aid [then again, J & D seems to be serious about anything involving bacon; it offers a bacon-flavored massage oil and intimate lube (and I do wish I was making that last bit up)].

I don't want to be the one to say this, but, with the possible exception of the late great Elvis, whom out there could possibly want a date to smell like the key part of a BLT? (It's not the lather; one barber told a Seattle TV station that the foam is first-rate.) I put it to you, folks. Would a bacon-scented date get past the introduction [because I can't imagine getting to a second encounter with Mr. Bacon. Even if it's Kevin]?
