Dick’s Sporting Goods To Stop Selling Assault Rifles
According to a new report on CNN, Dick's Sporting Goods the nation's largest sporting goods retailer is expected to stop the sale of Assault Rifles like the one used in the Parkland, Florida High School shooting.
Dick's Sporting Goods is also expected to raise the age of when someone can purchase any type of gun to 21 years old.
The company said that; "it will not sell high-capacity magazines that allow shooters to fire far more rounds than traditional weapons without reloading, as well as other accessories used with weapons similar to the AR-15."
Wal-Mart, the nation's largest retailer stopped sales of assault rifles back in 2015.
Since the shooting in Parkland, Florida where 17 people lost their lives, there has been a call for tougher gun laws.
