A recent recall of cucumbers has been expanded and will have an impact on thousands of shoppers in New York State.

New York is one of 15 states impacted by this massive cucumber recall. The recall was first issued on May 20th and has now been expanded to include four new products.

The recall was issued due to possible Salmonella contamination that has already been linked to several outbreaks of infections.

• Authentic Greek Salad that was sold at Safeway, Kings Food Markets, and Balducci's Food Lovers Market in Connecticut, Delaware, Washington DC, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. The salads have the UPC 29307000000– 00901 and "best by" dates May 23, 2025, and May 24, 2025.

There have been 26 cases of salmonella poisoning already reported in 15 states.
