We are just a couple of weeks into fall, and there are some sure signs of Christmas already popping up around Western New York. Have you seen this sign at your home?

A Sign Christmas Is Here In Western New York

A lot of people say that the "Christmas Creep" is true and that Christmas comes a little bit earlier each year. While you are seeing plenty of Fall and Autumn things at stores around Western New York, the first sign of Christmas might already be at your home.

I live in Hamburg, and over the weekend, Christmas hit right in the face bright and early. I went out to grab the mail and BOOM, there it was. It was the Christmas Toy Catalog from Walmart.

Yep, just a couple of days into Fall, your kids and grandkids will be flipping through the catalog and getting a long list of toys they can't wait for Santa to bring this Christmas.

I'm just glad that this year, the toy catalog came to Western New York before the snow hits the 716. For me, that was always the sure sign that Winter was here: the snow coming off the Lake and bringing plenty of the white stuff to Western New York.

Besides the toy catalog from Walmart, some other signs that Christmas is right around the corner are going to be Christmas music on the radio. Starting on November 1st, you will be able to listen to Christmas 24/7 on The New 96.1.
